Friday 25 March 2011 Goodman Group has announced that it has signed its second contract in four weeks to develop a 110,000-m² pre-committed logistics center for Amazon, one of the world's leading online e-commerce providers. Goodman will develop the new facility in Graben, south of Augsburg in Germany. Thursday 24 March 2011 Hammerson acquires retail portfolio for £208 million (UK) Centrale, purchased for £98 million, is the largest of the assets. Thursday 24 March 2011 Hammerson plc has exchanged contracts to acquire a portfolio of six assets from St. Martins Property Investments Limited for £208 million (approx. €239 million). Hammerson's initial commitment, including transaction costs, is £221 million. Passing rents on the properties are £17.2 million, and after taking account of vacancy charges and other direct costs the yield on purchase price is 7.0%.
